The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass continues the story that began in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Months after Wind Waker’s events, Link and his friend Tetra (who is secretly Princess Zelda) are sailing the Great Sea in search of new lands when they encounter a mysterious Ghost Ship shrouded in fog. When Tetra boards the ship and disappears, Link attempts to follow her but is thrown overboard and washed ashore on a strange island. There he is found by a fairy named Ciela, who becomes his companion and guide.
